MAYFIELD – If anyone is interested in applying for a low-interest disaster loan for long-term recovery from the December tornado, the physical damage deadline is Monday, March 14.
According to the Small Business Administration, Graves County homeowners, renters, businesses and some non-profits are eligible for SBA disaster loans. Representatives with SBA are located at the Disaster Recovery Center, 1102 Paris Rd. Suite 4, at the Mayfield Shopping Plaza.
They are available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday. They are closed Saturday and Sunday. Those interested can also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955.
Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via the SBA’s website at DisasterLoanAssistance.sba.gov/ela/s/ and should apply under SBA declaration number 17286.
